Potential problems from Ryan Hope

For this I have looked into the names of other magazines, such as crack, in a way to help with tilting my own.

In this prezi I have decided to look at some of the key features expected of the audience I am aiming my magazine, billboard and website to, but I am not limiting my audience to just these expectations. I have also done a diagram showing other interests of my primary target audience as well as my secondary. This proved helpful as I also looked into my possible secondary audience and a wider range of people that my magazine can reach out to.

For this section I looked into colors most associated with the North East, this is so that I can use this as inspiration when it comes to creating a color scheme for my magazine and can then have a good mixture of regional colors and colors frequently seen in football magazines.

I looked into three websites, related to my chosen genre of football and they were FourFourTwo, Sky Sports and Football365 and compared and contrasted the three websites

These are the main fonts I looked into as I thought each had their positives and negatives but I think that I am leaning towards using 'Millionaire' for the title font for my magazine. fonts from Ryan Hope

These are magazine institutions I have previously looked at, with the majority of theses institutions producing music magazines such as NME and Kerrang

This is the feedback taken from my pitch, this was after it was presented to the rest of the class. Overall the general improvement asked of my to make to my pitch was to add more detail, this is something I look to do in my next draft of my pitch as a way to improve it. Possible additions are discussing my choice of fonts, colors, magazine name and then explaining why I have chosen them.

For this I decided to think of primarily football jargon as a way to link and apparel more to my audience. By using these possible titles as well it will distinguish my magazine as being a football magazine.

Here I looked into four key locations and options for my photoshoot, discussing why I should and shouldn't use each location.

From this I learnt the three primary camera angles/shot types I would like to be using for my photoshoot as away to show off my model to the best ability as well as helping get across the style of the magazine in the same process.

For props and costumes I looked to include in my magazine, for my model to use/wear during my photoshoot, there I think limited options. For props I thought that the suitable, and obvious, option was a football as it will instantly tell the reader that they are reading a football magazine. Others props that I feel would work well would be an actual goal, this I feel would combine very well with the football prop as we could show someone scoring a goal with he net. By showing the audience a goal being scored it could signify happiness and also success, something often associated with a goal being scored. However a prop I did think of but that would not work well I feel was a linesman flag; that is because a linesman's flag is not very visually striking or appealing so that is something I do not want featuring in my magazine as it could possibly disinterest the reader. As for costume I thought of the model wearing a football shirt, that being either a Newcastle or Sunderland shirt

I learnt the different types of facial expressions that could feature on the likes of my front cover and something like that could help entice my audience as well as also give off an idea of what to expect from the magazine. For example if I had a comical image it would suggest a more lighter and less formal tone.

From this it made think more about what the photoshoot with the likes of health and safety, the risks at hand, colour lightening as well as many others. Reece from Ryan Hope

For the magazine genre I have picked there are frequent uses of bright and eye catching colors , this can be seen on the covers of the football magazines. With the likes of blue, yellow and red primarily used this could be because the magazine is trying to appeal more to a younger audience as the bright and lively colors are more likely to attract a younger reader than an older.
