Flat plans

Front cover 

For my front cover flatplan I took inspiration from the likes of FourFourTwo, by having the single dominant image at the centre of the cover with the headline as well as the subheadline; I have chose this style because it will my magazine appear more real and have a greater effect of selling the main story and the magazine itself. As well as that I have also added essential information to go down the right alongside the dominant image, most likely overlapping with the image. This will include featured articles with in the magazine along with other things to expect within the magazine, this will give the reader a brief insight for what to expect and also could grab their attention, giving them a reason to buy the magazine.

Contents page

For my  contents page I decided to try and split the page, with the left being a contents list with the page numbers for the listed articles and features that will be in the magazine. On the right of the page I will include images, possibly taken from other pages of the magazine as a way to show the reader what the pages may look like as well as making the contents page more visually striking and appealing.

Billboard 

This it the flatplan for my Billboard advertising my magazine, for this I have added a border going all around the billboard however I may want to remove this addition later when making my billboard because this is something not seen in my billboards and could make my own appear less professional. In other areas of my billboard I have decided to have a single dominant image because I feel it will a greater effect than having many sub images and could help get the message across much easier, I have also added my masthead as a way to trademark the billboard as my own and make sure that people are aware that this is my billboard. Essential information would include the address and website links as a way for people to learn more about the magazine, possibly purchasing it.

Website 

This is the flat plan for the homepage of my website, the main inspiration I took for this was from a Goal website. I feel like this is quite simplistic which will work well and will be easy to access and also be used by my target audience.

Double Spread Page 

For my double spread page I agin looked into extracts from the like of FourFourTwo as they are what I am aiming for my magazine to resemble the most.
