Here I looked into two different billboards, both being from Sky Sports and found this very helpful. That is because it allowed for me to get a greater grasp and idea for when I come to making my own billboard for my magazine.  Billboard deconstruction from Ryan Hope

For my deconstructions I looked into a couple of football websites, such as the likes of Goal and Manchester Cities website. This was to show the difference between the two as one is looking at a much broader and wider audience; whereas the Manchester City website is primarily aimed towards fans of Manchester City.

For this I looked into four different extracts from magazines; two front covers, one contents page and one double spread page. This was helpful as it gave me a greater knowledge and idea of what I can do when it comes to making my own magazine.

For billboards I looked at two sports specific ones, Sky Sports and BT Sport as they use similar marketing stargazes and are yet completely different.

For my photoshoot I plan to meet with my model and take the photos on the Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of October, as these are the days that will work best for both myself and my model. As you can see below the weather of those planned days of shooting is not too bad, with Saturday seemingly the better.

Front cover  For my front cover flatplan I took inspiration from the likes of FourFourTwo, by having the single dominant image at the centre of the cover with the headline as well as the subheadline; I have chose this style because it will my magazine appear more real and have a greater effect of selling the main story and the magazine itself. As well as that I have also added essential information to go down the right alongside the dominant image, most likely overlapping with the image. This will include featured articles with in the magazine along with other things to expect within the magazine, this will give the reader a brief insight for what to expect and also could grab their attention, giving them a reason to buy the magazine. In this I looked at three profiles that could fit in my target audience, each for different reasons, picking three varying people that will take different amounts of interest in my magazine.

I looked at three potential models for my magazine, weighing in all of the conclusions and looking into who would suit this better as well as if things such as time consulates, work or anything else may effect which model I will use. I have now emailed one of the proposed models, this is too check there availability and to see if they can make the shoot.

So that my own interview is done well and is  structured I have made a brief plan, looking at possible questions, shots and my inspirations however not everything I have included within this plan will be used for my actual interview. Interview plan from Ryan Hope

For this I looked mainly at two magazines that I feel I will be competing with in this industry however I looked at two different magazines for separate reasons; one being that I will be competing with the genre of the magazine as it matches my own and the other being because it is a regional magazine as is my own magazine.

In order to narrow down my choices I have decided to create a survey using survey monkey as a way to get my audience involved and get there opinions on which of my titles is most effective and then I will decide from the three most popular. Create your own user feedback survey
